Support Required

• Host one Professional Fellow
• Provide a fixed stipend of INR 5000 per month to the Professional Fellow that would cover food and normal day to day expenses
• Provide accommodation to the Professional Fellow
• Assign a project to the Professional Fellow with clear and sustainable deliverables
• Orient the Professional Fellow at the start of the placement
• Assign the Professional Fellow a facilitator or supervisor to enable smooth and timely progress of work
• Provide general assistance for day to day work
• Ensure that the Fellow performs the work stated and provide appropriate feedback about his/her work
• Cover any work related cost (including the Professional Fellow’s cost of travel)
• Reasonably guarantee security of the Professional Fellow

• Provide a time-bound placement from 3 months onwards with a host organisation living and working in a semi-urban or rural area
• Provide the Host NGO one skilled Professional Fellow
• Cover the cost of the Professional Fellow’s travel to and from the host organisation
• Manage recruitment and selection of Professional Fellows
• Organise an orientation programme for the Professional Fellow before departure
• For new NGO partners, undertake an initial field visit for need assessment. During the visit, iVolunteer representative will meet with staff members, assess accommodation facilities and outline projects for the Fellows.<.li>
• Undertake a field visit to the Host Organisation midway through the placement as part of its review process
• Liaise with the host organisation and Professional Fellow at regular intervals during the course of the placement to ensure proper implementation of the programme
• Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation component of the programme

This year we are offering 10 fellowships to qualified professionals from metro cities across India. We seek rural host organisations based in North, West, Central and East India to identify target oriented social development projects that Professional Fellows can work on.
