iVolunteer will

Provide a 6-week fellowship with a Host NGO
Cover the cost of the Fellow’s travel to the Host NGO and back (via most reasonable and economic mode without compromising the safety and security of the Fellow)
Provide a fixed stipend of INR 3500 (for 6 weeks in two installments) to the Fellow that would cover food and normal day-to-day expenses
Organise an orientation programme for the Fellow before departure
Liaise with the Host NGO and Fellow to ensure proper implementation of the fellowship

Fellow

The applicant understands that India Fellow:

Is a 6-week intense rural programme requiring the Fellow to live and work with a rural community on a social development project hosted by an NGO
Requires the selected Fellow to commit 1 week towards orientation and preparation preceding departure for the 6-week rural stay. The Fellow is also required to commit 1 week for reporting, end-point meet and valedictory function upon return from the rural stay
Requires the selected Fellow to submit documentation including reports, feedbacks and photographs as and when required during the fellowship
Projects are assigned suitably to each Fellow at the sole discretion of iVolunteer

iVolunteer charter

By giving my consent to participate in India Fellow, I agree to abide by the following code of conduct in the coming 6 weeks:

Shall act in good faith with utmost care, skill, diligence, and integrity
Shall be sensitive to the needs of others and respect their culture
Shall act within the authority conferred upon me
Shall keep in mind, at all times, the best interests of iVolunteer, the Host NGO and the rural community and strive to make a positive contribution
Shall not participate in or take any decision which might bring about a conflict of interest with iVolunteer, the Host NGO or the rural community
Shall not make any statement or act in a manner which is capable of embarrassing relations between any of the parties concerned
Shall not disclose any confidential information to a third party without proper authority
Shall keep both the Host NGO and iVolunteer informed, at all times, of any developments which concern them
Shall adhere to the Host NGO’s policies, practices, procedures, dress code, and standards of conduct till the end of the Fellowship

If any of these terms are breached, iVolunteer and/or the Host NGO may terminate the Fellowship and/or may require reimbursement from the participant of payments that have already been made to him/her up to the date of termination.
