From rural Host NGO:

Host two fellows
Arrange for accommodation of the fellows in your campus/building
Assign a reporting officer to oversee and guide the fellows during the fellowship
Assign a project/s to the fellows (preferably separate projects for each fellow)

From iVolunteer:

Financial assistance to each Fellow in the form of a stipend to cover food and day to day expenses
Cover the Fellow’s cost of travel to the Host NGO and back
Selection and recruitment of fellows
Field visit to the village before the fellowship commences to meet with staff members, assess accommodation facilities and outline projects for the Fellows
Organise an orientation programme for the Fellows prior to their departure
3 weeks into the fellowship, visit the NGO and Fellows for a mid term review of the placement
Post fellowship, organise an end point meet for Fellows to share their learning and a valedictory function to felicitate Fellows with a certificate on successful completion of the fellowship. Host NGOs will be invited for the same.

This year we are offering 60 fellowships to urban youth from metro cities in India. We seek rural Host NGOs based in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttaranchal and Uttar Pradesh.
