Position: Volunteer Relationship Executive
Programme: National Volunteering
Location: Mumbai, Bangalore
Requirement: Immediate
Reporting to: Head National Volunteering
The incumbent will be responsible for providing and expanding volunteer placement services under the iVolunteer Service Centre in and around the place of posting. Key responsibilities include:

Achieving overall growth of volunteering in terms of
- Volunteer awareness – number of people reached; geographical & demographic spread
- Volunteer Value created – number of volunteer placements, volunteer time, volunteer assignments completed;
- Non-profits serviced – number of organisations, issues covered;
- Specific initiatives undertaken involving – corporates, associations, government and community
- Ensuring quality implementation of core iVolunteer functions:
- Volunteer placements
- Organisation registration, Profiling & Need assessment, Opportunity verification
- Reaching out & profiling volunteers, volunteer orientation
- Feedback and reviews with volunteers and organisations
- Relationship management with volunteers, organisations and other stakeholders
- Documentation, reporting and data management
- Develop periodic plans
- Mobilise volunteers from various sections across the society including (but not restricted to) youth, professional associations, social clubs and societies, employee groups
- Initiating innovative activities to grow the portfolio of iVolunteer activities
- Local promotions
- Generating and utilising local resources as required
- Assisting on other iVolunteer projects as required
- Co-ordination with other iVolunteer offices and programs
- Capacity enhancement with respect to volunteering:
- Volunteer Management workshops for non-profit managers
- Volunteer workshops for prospective and practicing volunteers
- Administration and Office Management
- Maintain filing systems (paper & electronic) and ensure documents are in order and updated
- Contributing to the overall mission of iVolunteer and development of the iVolunteer program
You should be a ‘people’s person’, confident and self-driven, with fluent writing and oral skills, willing to work independently. The basic requirement is a passion to enable people to contribute towards development. Exposure to and knowledge of the development sector in the form of voluntary / work experience or a relevant academic qualification is a must. Proficiency in regional language and office computing is preferable. You should work with a ‘target’ based approach and capable of handling multiple activities simultaneously.
