For most people, the term ‘volunteering’ signifies something serious, intense and boring. These are some of the primary reasons why people shy away from giving their time to support a social cause.

However, for most iVolunteer members, ‘volunteering’ is a means to not only give back to the community but also receive in return a refreshing and rewarding experience. It’s a chance to let your hair down after a tiring day at work and share some memorable moments with people who value your time.

Our volunteers are students, professionals, housewives and senior citizens. Each of their backgrounds might be poles apart but the one aspect they share in common is the desire to make a difference. Their experience has shown them that volunteering is fun and far from time consuming. This is because we, at iVolunteer, consistently strive to blend volunteering into your professional and private life.

Through iVolunteer, you get to choose from a range of volunteering opportunities that support a wide array of social issues like HIV/AIDS, children, senior citizens, the environment, animals and differently abled people. All you have to do is decide the cause you would like to volunteer for and iVolunteer will take care of the rest.

Our range of volunteering opportunities caters to one-time, short term, long term and online volunteers.
One time volunteering is essentially an event-based opportunity that lasts for a day. This means giving anywhere between 2 hours to 8 hours of your time most often on weekends or on public holidays. It could be an excursion with special children to a zoo, a day-long trek or manning a one-day stall in your office to promote a non-profit’s merchandise.
Short term volunteering is mostly project based like helping an NGO with its accounts or in fund raising, designing a website or coaching children during their Diwali break.
Long term volunteering is a 3 month plus time commitment for people willing to volunteer on a regular basis. This involves teaching English for an entire semester, working on a heath-based community outreach programme or mentoring children.
Online volunteering offers you the chance to volunteer from home or from your workplace. You could help in managing a website, drafting proposals, writing content for an NGO’s brochure or designing communication material.

So contact us to contribute your time and skills to whom it matters most.
