I still remember that fateful day in the month of May when I met Prarthana. After I met her, I still, till today, believe the first impression is the best impression. Yes, I’m talking about Prarthana, a lady with full josh, enthusiasm and honesty in talking.
Before connecting with iVolunteer, I was under the impression that only orphanages are NGOs. After I connected with iVolunteer, my way of life completely changed. From that day to this Saturday, not even a single Saturday have I been at home. Instead I've kept myself busy with some or the other volunteering activity. Through volunteering, I have met like minded people; I have started looking at things differently and positively. Now if anyone in the world asks me for help, I will not say ‘No’. I will directly call iVolunteer to ask for details about that particular issue and then connect people.
I have been happy ever since iVolunteer happened to me. I have discovered that I can speak well on stage without any stage fear. I am not scared of HIV, leprosy or any kind of ailment; rather I have started educating my family and friends about it. I have received lots of good feedback about myself, which keeps me fully charged up throughout the day. Until my last breath, I will stay connected with iVolunteer. If not for volunteering, I would have been a lazy bum… today I have the confidence to talk to anyone and can boast of a number of good contacts. CSIM is another very unforgettable and special connection to my life.
Through iVolunteer, I discovered life… my sixth sense and soul… because here you are, doing the right things for the right people. This is what I should have begun doing long before.
