About the program

iVolunteer was started in year 2001 with the aim of promoting volunteering in India and leveraging the unique contributions that volunteer make to development. Foreign volunteering component of the program started in April 2002 with the first successful placement of 6 volunteers in the Himalayas. Since then we have come a long way by in placing foreign volunteers in India.

Volunteering through iVolunteer is a great way to get involved in various volunteering projects in India. Working hands-on with the communities you will also develop understanding of the development challenges facing India…..
